Find a piece Aesop 's fables

發問:

I want to find a piece of Aesop's fables. But I don't want to have ''Fox is coming", "the lion and mouse". You must use English, but not Chinese.

最佳解答:

1) The Wolf in Sheep's Clothing--Appearances are deceptive. A Wolf found great difficulty in getting at the sheep owing to the vigilance of the shepherd and his dogs. But one day it found the skin of a sheep that had been flayed and thrown aside, so it put in on over its own pelt and strolled down among the sheep. The Lamb that belonged to the sheep, whose skin the Wolf was wearing, began to follow the Wolf in the Sheep's clothing. So, leading the Lamb a little apart, he soon made a meal off her, and for some time he succeeded in deceiving the sheep, and enjoying hearty meals. 2) The Fox and the Grapes--It's easy to despise what you cannot have. One afternoon a fox was walking through the forest and spotted a bunch of grapes hanging from over a lofty branch. "Just the thing to quench my thirst," quoth he. Taking a few steps back, the fox jumped and just missed the hanging grapes. Again the fox took a few paces back and tried to reach them but still failed. Finally, giving up, the fox turned up his nose and said, "They're probably sour anyway," and proceeded to walk away. (This website has a lot of Aesop's fables, you can go and take a look!)
